This a Strongman Corporation sanctioned competition for beginner to intermediate level (Level 1) strongman/strongwoman.  The intent is to introduce men and women to the great strongman sport.  Open to all interested athletes.

Early weigh-in Friday December 5, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Saturday December 6:  Weigh-in 8:00 AM Rules Briefing 8:30 AM; Contest 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Contest is open to everyone.  Women: 57kg, 64kg, 73kg, 82kg, HW

Men: 80kg, 90kg, 105kg,  120kg, HW

Teen, Masters and Novice Men:  Lightweight U100.; 100kg+ Heavyweight .

Teen and Masters Women (40+) (no novice): Lightweight U70.; Heavyweight 70kg+.

  • 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
  • 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
  • 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
  • 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals

 Weight categories with less three (3) registered athletes on November 10th will be combined with next category above; but using the weight of the lowest weight category athlete registered.

All athletes will compete in Log Clean and Press, Farmers Walk, Super Yoke, MAX deadlift w/ Monkee Grips.

You can come and prepare for the contest in our Strongman Classes held every Strongman workouts Saturday and Sunday 11 AM to 3 PM at The Training Hall by Odd E. Haugen.  The Classes are free for members, non-members can participate for $25.00 drop-in fee.

Entry Fee: Early By 10/15/2025);  $100.00 (Teen/Novice/Masters pay $70) (by 11/15/2025); $120( Teen/Novice/Masters pay $90) and late entry $150 payable with entry form at:

Scoring:

Timed Disciplines shall be hand timed, and distances shall be measured by standard measuring device.  The score in a Discipline shall be determined by placement and based on the number of athletes starting in the first Discipline of the contest. If the number of athletes is 10; then winner of an event gets 10point, second place 9 points etc. If an Athlete pass on a Discipline or fail to get a measurable result in a Discipline, he will receive 0 points (i.e. fails to get one repetition in a Discipline for maximum repetitions, fails to lift the opening weight in a max lift, fails to participate in Discipline etc.).  The score for a placement shall remain the same through an entire competition
