This Strongman Corporation sanctioned competition for beginner to high amateur level strongman/strongwoman. The intent is to introduce men and women to the
great strongman sport. Open to all interested athletes.
As a Regional competition, the number of qualifying athletes depends on the number of athletes competing ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION and follows these standards:
8 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for the Arnold, 1st-3rd place qualify for
Nationals
8-11 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for the Arnold, 1st-4th place qualify for
Nationals
12+ athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for the Arnold, 1st-5th place qualify for
Nationals

Entry Fees
- Entry Fee: Early BY 06/15/2026): $100.00 (Teen/Novice/Masters pay $70);
- Register by 07/10/2025: $120 (Teen/Novice/Masters pay $90) and late entry $150
- ENTRY DEADLINE: 07/10/2026 (late entries $150.00)

Scoring:
Timed Disciplines shall be hand timed, and distances shall be measured by standard measuring device. The score in a Discipline shall be determined by placement and based on the number of athletes starting in the first Discipline of the contest. If the number of athletes is 10; then winner of an event gets 10point, second place 9 points etc. If an Athlete pass on a Discipline or fail to get a measurable result in a Discipline, he will receive 0 points (i.e. fails to get one repetition in a Discipline for maximum repetitions, fails to lift the opening weight in a max lift, fails to participate in Discipline etc.). The score for a placement shall remain the same through an entire competition.

Women – U57kg
Women – U64kg
Women – U73kg
Women –U82kg
Women open 82kg+
Men
Lightweight Men – U80kg
Welter weight – U90kg
Middleweight Men – U105kg
Heavyweight Men – U120kg
Men Open 120kg+
Masters:
Women – U64kg (use Open U57 weights)
Women – U82kg (use Open U64 weights)
Women Open 82kg+(use Open U82 weights)
Men – U90kg (use Open U80 weights)
Men – U105kg (use Open U80 weights)
Men open 105kg+(use Open U90 weights)
Teen and Novice Men
Under 100kg (use Open U80 weights)
100kg and over (use Open U90 weights)
Teen and Novice Women
Under 70kg (use Open U57 weights)
70kg and over (use One U64 weights)
**Weight categories with less three (3) registered athletes on July 10th will be combined with next category above; but using the weight of the lowest weight category athlete registered.**
Schedule of Events:
- Weigh-in Friday at The Training Hall 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: LATE Weigh-in 8:00 AM
- Rules Briefing 8:30AM
- Contest 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Event Rules / Details
- Sandbag Steeplechase
Athlete will pick up, carry, and load two sandbags. Athlete will begin with their hands off of the implement. Upon the ‘GO’ command, they will pick up the first bag and carry it 20’ and load it over a 48” tall bar. Athlete will duck under the same bar, pick up the bag again, and carry it another 20’ and load over another 48” tall bar. Athlete will then run back and repeat the same process with the second bag. Timer stops when the second bag is successfully loaded over the second bar. Fastest time wins. Belts, sleeves, gloves, & wraps are allowed. Sandbags can NOT rest on the athlete belts while being carried. 60 second time limit. Fastest time wins.
- Axle clean & Press
Athlete will stand at the ready with their hands off of the implement. Upon the ‘GO’ command, athlete will clean and press the axle bar and wheels for as many reps as possible. Athlete must wait for the ‘DOWN’ command for the attempt to count. Belt cleans are allowed. Athlete has 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Most reps within the time frame wins. Belts, wraps, & sleeves are allowed.
- Farmers Carry for Time
Athlete will stand at the ready with their hands off the implement. Upon the ‘GO’ command, athlete will pick up the implement and carry it down and back 40’ in each direction. The front of the implement must cross the line at the turn around point, and again at the finish line. Any sliding across the lines on either side will result in a 5 second penalty. Unlimited drops are allowed. 60 second time limit. Fastest time wins. Belts, sleeves, & wrist wraps are allowed.
- Kratos Bar Deadlift – MAX weight
Athlete will have 3 attempts to reach their max weight. Any failed lift will end the athletes attempts. Athlete will have 30 seconds to complete the lift once they step onto the platform, this includes time to strap in. If the bar is moving at the end of the 30 seconds, the rep will count if completed. Athlete must wait for the ‘DOWN’ command for the rep to be counted. ALL GEAR & SUITS ARE ALLOWED.
- Duckwalk to Powerstairs
Athlete will start with their hand on the stairs. Upon the ‘GO’ command, the athlete will run down, pick up the power pin apparatus, and walk it to the stairs. Athlete will then pick the implement onto the stairs. Timer stops when the implement is FULLY on the top stair and hands are off of the implement. Belts, sleeves, wrist wraps are allowed. 60 seconds time limit. Fastest time wins.
