This a Strongman Corporation sanctioned competition for beginner to intermediate level (Level 1) strongman/strongwoman. The intent is to introduce men and women to the great strongman sport. Open to all interested athletes.

Contest is open to everyone. Open Weight Categories are: Lightweight Women -140 lb.; Middleweight Women – 180 lb.; Heavyweight Women 181 lb. and above; Lightweight Men -175 lb.; Welterweight Men -200lb; Middleweight Men -231 lb.; Heavyweight Men 232 lb. and above.
Teen, Masters and Novice Men: Lightweight -220lb.; Heavyweight +221lb. and above.
Teen and Masters Women (40+) (no novice): Lightweight -150lb.; Heavyweight +151lb. and above.
*If there are two to five athletes in a weight class:
1st place – Nationals invite
If there are six or more athletes in a weight class:
1st place – Nationals
2nd place – Nationals
If there are 10 or more in a class:
1st Place -Nationals
2nd Place- Nationals
3rd Place- Nationals
Weight categories with less three (3) registered athletes on November 10th will be combined with next category above; but using the weight of the lowest weight category athlete registered.
All athletes will compete in Log Clean and Press, Farmers Walk, Super Yoke, Tire Flip.
You can come and prepare for the contest in our Strongman Classes held every Thursday at 5:00 PM and open Strongman workouts Saturday and Sunday 11 AM to 3 PM at The Training Hall by Odd E. Haugen. The Classes are free for members, non-members can participate for $20.00 drop-in fee.
Entry Fee: Early $100.00 (Teen/Novice/Masters pay $70) (BY010/15/2024); $120 Teen/Novice/Masters pay $90 (by 11/15/2024); and late entry $150 payable with entry form at:

Scoring:
Timed Disciplines shall be hand timed, and distances shall be measured by standard measuring device. The score in a Discipline shall be determined by placement and based on the number of athletes starting in the first Discipline of the contest. If the number of athletes is 10; then winner of an event gets 10point, second place 9 points etc. If an Athlete pass on a Discipline or fail to get a measurable result in a Discipline, he will receive 0 points (i.e. fails to get one repetition in a Discipline for maximum repetitions, fails to lift the opening weight in a max lift, fails to participate in Discipline etc.). The score for a placement shall remain the same through an entire competition

12:30PM AM Tire Flip for set distance (all categories in pairs starting with the lightest in reverse order of overall standing)
