The California Strongest Team Championship be contested over 4 Disciplines.  Teams’ order in the first 3 Disciplines are determined by reverse order of received TEAM entry including all fees.  The order in the FINAL Discipline shall be the reverse order of OVERALL standing (not previous Discipline).  Ties in the overall standing shall be broken by finish in previous Discipline.  Each TEAM shall consist of three (3) athletes any size/weight, at least one woman and at least one man (i.e. 1 man 2 women, or 2 men 1 woman).  Each team members body weight category determines the weight of the individual athlete’s implements in each discipline (see below) and each team member must participate in all four team disciplines.  Teams may represent their city, their place of work, their gym, a group of friends, or nothing in particular!  This is your choice.  Each team must have a NAME though…keep it clean.

Timed Disciplines shall be hand timed, and distances shall be measured by standard measuring device.  The score in a Discipline shall be determined by placement and based on the number of TEAMs starting in the first Discipline of the contest.  Winner of an event gets 1 point, second place 2 points etc. If an TEAM pass on a Discipline or fail to get a measurable result in a Discipline, he will receive maximum points (i.e. fails to get one repetition in a Discipline for maximum repetitions, fails to lift the opening weight in a max lift, etc.).  The score for a placement shall remain the same through an entire competition (i.e. if the maximum points is 21 points in the first Discipline, it will remain 21 points in subsequent Disciplines even if the field of TEAMs has been reduced by attrition).
